Product Service System Weekly Feedback - Week 8

Feedback from Scott:
1.) Reduce the material, is it necessary to design a new trolley or just building a hanging system?
2.) Make sure its practical, cost saving and improve the functions more.
3.) Newton spring to measure the weight of the food items?
4.) Introduce bags on the supermarket shelf that contain the ingredients and a recipe card.
5.) Convince people to use the trolley without any hassle; to support the cause willingly and the whole service.
6.) Improve the service at the supermarket to attract the shoppers to buy leftovers and trolley.

Feedback from classmates:
Kevin Peng:
The design of the trolley can be improved, play around with the colours and design of the specific parts that make up the trolley. The system map is good and detailed.
Emma Ning Sun:
Maybe the supermarket could provide shoppers different coloured bags on the shelves that contain different categories of items such as vege, meat, frozen, cleaning products, etc. The supermarket should provide services that could engage the shoppers.

Reflection:
I still need to improve on the design of the trolley and also the service system. Need to find ways to convince and engage shoppers about the advantages of using the trolley and educate/make them aware about reducing food waste and change their perception towards buying leftovers.
