Product Service System Weekly Feedback - Week 7

Feedback from Scott:
Concept 1 and 3 are the stronger than concept 2 (payphone system).
Concept 1: I need to explore more on the services and security that it can be enhanced, focus more on the customers' convenience. I also should play around with the design of the product a bit more.
Concept 2: There are might be too many features in this product which becomes like iPhone, need to be a bit careful with that. Focus on one feature/function the product is really good at it, and how it fits with the service.
Concept 3: The service is good. There are a lot of possibilities in coming with products that could be associated with some of the steps mentioned. It can be cooking utensils, food packaging, food cart, etc.

Other tutor, Tom:
Need to determine what is the target market, how would they do specific activities and understand the emotions or behaviours involved.

Feedback from classmates:
Christine: For concept 1, the idea behind it is good. Think of the possibilities how customers can return the baggage back to the provider and pick the most convenient one. Different sizes of baggage would be good.
For concept 3, food trolley design is possible. Come up with ways how food organisation can be improved. Breads are usually being replaced everyday so have a look at them.
Antony: Concept 1 is the best one, Try to come of with different sizes of baggage so that it could be useful for different functions and people. Colour, number, texture variations to differentiate those baggage because it'll be difficult to recognise similar looking bags. Customers can also collect and return their baggage at travel agencies and shopping centres.

Reflection:
More research needs to be done to refine concept 1 and 3. Need to decide which is the best concept. Make mock ups and perform experiments for better understanding of the system chosen.
